Professional Qualifications
I
am registered with the British Association of Art Therapists as a
Private Practitioner and Supervisor.
I
originally trained as a technical illustrator for five years and then
entered art college to gain a diploma in Painting and Sculpture.
During my 30s I trained as a social worker, community worker and youth
worker, I was then engaged with community and
educational development for over fifteen years.
I
decided to train in art therapy after a long period of working with
homeless people , adults with learning difficulties and community
groups. I was finding that my creative and art background was becoming
an important aspect of working in these communities.
I

I
also have an extensive Continual Professional Development record in art
therapy, education and coaching.
I am a member of the British
Association of Art Therapists (BAAT) No 22141, and a State Registered
